1452165347728(1)Year 2015 has been a good year for ASUS, Zenfone series had a positive impact in the mobile industry. And now ASUS has come up with a tablet to finish the year in a style. yes! ASUS Zenpad 7.0 is one of the stylish tablet available in the market with a excellent build quality.

Right after receiving their Zenfone 2 laser, I received a mail that they will be sending ASUS Zenpad 7.0 which would help in my blogging experience. The device arrived home with a audio cover as well. I have been using it for more than a week and I am loving it because it has made blog posting easy. I have installed the wordpress app on the tablet and now creating, editing blog posts on my site has become much easier.

    • It has a display size of 17.7 centimetres and includes an Intel Atom x3-C3230 Quad Core Processor.

    • It includes an internal memory of 16GB.

    • It has an 8 MP main camera with auto-focus, manual mode, IR filter and a 2 MP front camera.

    • ZenPad 7.0 is available in two colors as well - Obsidian Black, Aurora Metallic.

    • Power management - Battery lasts for a day.

    • Priced at INR 14,999 with audio cover and INR 11,999 without audio cover

Here is my review about the device. Hope it helps you, when you want to choose the device.

Pros :

    • Amazing Display , one of the best display I have seen in the recent days though I had trouble reading in direct sunlight.

    • Sound , sound is one of the best feature in this tablet. The ASUS audio cover is like an icing on the cake. You get  a true experience of 5.1 surround sound. Even with the full volume sound, clarity is too good.

    • Though the ASUS cover made the tablet bit heavier, I wouldn't mind because of the output and elegance it gives to the tablet.

    • Interface- Android 5.0 lollipop with customized Zen UI gives a good feel to work with.

    • There is a kids mode app which lets your kids to safe browsing i.e the browser can automatically prevent access to the likes of YouTube, pornography or eBay if these terms are searched for by a child.

    • ASUS Bluelight Filter - Reading on a tablet can cause eye fatigue but the ASUS ZenPad 7.0 Z370CG combats this by reducing the blue light emission by around 30% without disturbing the rest of the colour balance.
To switch on this functionality, use the pull down menu, click on the Bluelight filter icon, and it is immediately activated.

Cons :

    • Performance - the tablet is not for heavy gamers (like my husband ;) ). It tends to lag with heavy graphics game. However, the new ASUS Zenpad 7.0 helps a blogger in all possible ways :D

In a nut-shell, the ASUS Zenpad 7.0 will truly add value to your blogging experience :)
