Fish Roe Curry or Fish Eggs Masala or Meen Muttai Thokku, Step by Step recipe with pictures - Fish Roe Curry was introduced by my cousin to me, during those "bad season" ( the month we operated my brother's eyes ) of my life. I was told that this fish roe curry helps in improving eyesight, in addition fish roe has lots of omega 3 fatty acids. And Omega-3s can tune down the body’s inflammation, and that is how they help prevent some of these chronic diseases like arthritis, heart diseases etc. God beautifully made that bad season vanish from my life but my affair with fish roe masala continues till date :)

#FoodforSoul - I recently got a golden opportunity to teach about Jesus to kids from all background in a Vacation Bible School. All 7 days of the course started with a devotion session where one teacher shared a word from Bible on the theme of the day. My day turned up. Theme of the day was "Love Others". I started sharing... Too often, we see people through eyes of judgement rather than eyes of love. That is because, we forget that God has put people in our lives to show love and compassion. We can love people as long as they are good to us. But at times of hardship, we end up judging them. There is a reason people are the way they are. If we took time to understand battles they have gone through, pains they have bore, people they have faced, atmosphere they were grown, we can easily connect with them. One of the greatest traits we all can develop is to believe the best in people. Love covers a mistake says the Bible. Even if they are wrong, god did not put us to condemn them. What helps to bring them back to track is mercy and forgiveness. As I shared, I was happy to see nodding heads. I shared a story which I noted down during my preparations the before night. There was a little boy who ran cheerfully to his nearby farm, early morning. The farm keeper seeing the boy on the gate asked "what do you want, son". He said "I want one of the puppies you have in your farm. Here I have some.... ( counting the money from his packet ) mmm.. 39 cents, will that be enough?" Farm keeper smiled and gave a shout to his helper "Untie the puppies, let him choose the one he wants." The colorful furry puppies wagging cute tails, ran towards him cuddling the green pasture land.  He was confused as to take which one to his home. There was one last puppy, still struggling to come out of the shelter where all the puppies ran from. The boy pointed to that puppy and told the farm keeper "I want that one". He said cautiously "No son, His legs are broken. You cannot play with him". The little boy rolled up his jeans and showed the steel plate, artificial legs to him and said "Neither I can run and play. That puppy needs someone like me to understand him" Farm keeper stood melted :) If at all, we put ourselves into others shoes, we cannot learn them or understand what they are going through or realize why they are behaving bad. It is easy to preach, talk or write in a post, To practice or experience, I need God and you too. Simple, when you realize that God created you in HIS image, you will know that you have all the potential to show unconditional love like Him.

I am making a choice today, will you join me ? - Let's not judge people :) 99.9% of people are not bad people, They may make poor choices, But deep down they have a good heart says Joel Osteen :) Now taking you back to a heirloom recipe - Fish roe curry :)
